The Unhappy End of a Crowdfunding Scam – For the Backers

Earlier today, the campaign for the BioRing, the wonder device soliciting funds on Indiegogo (IGG), went dark and closed.

Whether IGG stepped in, or the campaigners did this themselves remains unclear.

All that IS known is that whoever was behind this campaign hasn’t posted to or answered backer’s questions concerning the campaign or their revolutionary device for some time now. Backers began asking for refunds of their pledge money, already collected and disbursed to BioRing. That’s going to be a problem for the over 3000 people¬†internationally ¬†who bought into this device’s claims.

You see, in crowdfunding, pledging means never being able to get your money back once the campaign deadline passes.

Those funds are gone.
