This blog post is in response to Natalie’s 10 Day Freedom Plan Blog Challenge Day 2.
Today’s challenge question would probably stymie most people: Why do you want to live the freedom lifestyle?
The question of why we do the things we do never really occurs to many. It’s not ingrained in our culture to question our lot in life.
It’s even encoded in a popular meme from a few years ago – Why Ask Why?
Yet this is perhaps the most important question we could ask ourselves, because it helps define our purpose, the reason that we do what we do.
My own answer is to be of use.
That probably sounds a bit strange to you. After all, isn’t every one of use in some manner, shape, or form? On the surface, that’s probably true – but my meaning goes just a bit deeper. I wish to be the person that people seek out to clarify their own thoughts and attitudes, because they find mine of value.
That what I have to say and express matters to them and to the world.
I would like to be an example to the world that even though a body isn’t fully functional, the mind behind it is not limited by the physical shell.
If Stephen Hawking can prove it, why can’t I?
