Is There Still Time?

Feeling the weight of Time’s passage.

Once the burden seemed to be so light, so limitless. All the possibilities that were lay before me to infinity.

And Time passed.

Then the tyranny of the clock, the schedule, the deadline encroaching. The World was still infinite, just the ability to indulge in it started to become restricted. “It’s okay, though,” I think. “There’s all the time to do these things you plan later.”

And Time passed.

You reach that point where you say enough to the demands of the world of clocks and schedules, and cast off the shackles they had put on you for so long. You finally start to live your life as you wish to.

And Time stops with the rupture of a tiny, tiny blood vessel in your skull.

Everything is suddenly gone in that moment. You go through your days now not living, just existing.

Once again feeling the weight of Time’s passage.
